Affiliate disclosure

Retailers whose affiliate programmes accept us pay us a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you; others pay us nothing. Neither changes what we recommend. The list below always shows who pays us today.

Who pays us

No retailer pays us yet, so none of our links earn us anything. When a retailer’s affiliate programme accepts us, its links will earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. That will never change what we recommend.

Retailers we link to that pay us nothing: Amazon.co.uk, De’Longhi, Melitta, Nespresso, Philips, Sage, AO, Argos, Currys, Hughes, John Lewis, Marks Electrical, Redber Coffee, and Lakeland.

Retailers that don’t pay us

Many of the shops we link to pay us nothing, including brand shops and independent retailers. We include them because you should see the full range of prices, not only the ones that could earn us money. The list above always shows which is which.

Our rankings are independent

Products are chosen and ordered on specs, price and owner-reported problems. A retailer or brand cannot pay to be included, ranked higher or removed, and commission rates are not part of our scoring. How we choose explains the method.

  • Retailer links go straight to the retailer. We don’t hide them behind redirects.
  • Paid links are marked for search engines as sponsored; unpaid links are not.
  • We count clicks on our own site without cookies or personal data, so we know which pages help.
  • Prices show the date we last checked them. Retailers change prices often, so the price at checkout is the one that counts.
